ECTI Association Systems & Control Chapter is pleased to announce 10 student travel grants to support students in universities outside Thailand in ASEAN who will attend and present their papers in technical sessions at ICA-SYMP 2023.
Amount: Accommodation support (Max 2,500 THB for 2 nights) during ICA-SYMP 2023 for up to 10 students at on-campus or nearby housing.
Important Deadlines
Deadline for submitting student travel grant application: November 19, 2022
Award notification: December 19, 2022
Deadline to accept/decline the award: December 26, 2022
Qualifications for Eligibility
To apply for the ASEAN Student Travel Grant, the applicant must:
- Be a full-time student (bachelor, master, or Ph.D.) at a university outside Thailand in ASEAN at the time of application.
- Be the author or co-author of a paper accepted by ICA-SYMP 2023. One student per paper is eligible to apply for a travel grant award.
- Register as an author/presenter.
- Attend the conference and present the paper.
Selection Criteria
Applications will be evaluated and selected by the organizing committee according to the following criteria:
- The necessity of travel grant for the student
- The overall quality of the paper
- Recommendation letter from advisor/supervisor
Application Procedure
The application form and other necessary documents must be submitted electronically to ECTI.STG@gmail.com with the subject “ASEAN Student Travel Grant to ICA-SYMP 2023“. The following documents are required for application:
- ASEAN Student Travel Grant Application Form
- Statement of Purpose
- Notification of paper acceptance and review comments (if any)
- Scanned copy of valid student ID card
- Recommendation letter from advisor/supervisor
Note: All files should be in PDF format and be enclosed in one zip file. An incomplete application will not be considered for the ASEAN Student Travel Grant.
